Data sources and freshness

What each source contributes, how often PropTools checks it, and what it does when a source goes quiet.

Monitoring active

Scheduled checks record each source’s availability even when no new release is published, so a source that goes quiet is visible before its data goes stale.

Timing is source-specific

NAPIC releases are checked hourly and the transaction database refreshes daily; slower publishers are checked less often.
